ACTIVITIES
At Çakabey Private Schools students from kindergarten to grade 12 take part in different activities which are suitable for them. On every possible occasion students' participation in academic and social presentations is desired. Also, special activities are organized for topics such as special days, comprehension of meaning and function, skills like researching, making a presentation in front of audiences, and group work. According to their age level students are responsible for organizing and participating in these activities.
Apart from special days and weeks very many activities are traditionally organized in different fields like social science ,mathematics ,science ,Turkish and foreign languages. .These activities are aimed at arousing student's interest on their subject, making students eager to do research, and getting them to use their knowledge in real life. For example, Traditional Turkish Days , Mathematics Days, Healthy Eating Day, (Sandwich Competition) and Foreign Languages Week.
*Çakabey Private Schools , with EBILTEM( Ege University Science and Technology Investigation Centre) , organized and hosted Europe Science Entertainment , which is supported by the European Union, for Turkey in 2006 and 2007. Students also took part in this and approximately 5000 people met with hundreds of scientists.
